Life Lessons from Founder of Apple

These days, whenever I reach dorm after working, I keep watching Steve Jobs speech in 2005 for Stanford University Graduation. It’s so inspiring that keep me dreaming high and making best effort in everything. You can watch the video below.

He told three stories from his life. Lesson learned from the first one is about connecting the dots in our life. Even the worst experience you had in the past will teach you something that maybe help you make the best decision in your life. Eventually you will realize that what happened in the past will lead for your future. And it’s your job to trust that dots in your past somehow will connect your future.

Lesson learned for the second story is the only way to get success is to do great work, and the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking and don’t settle.

Lastly, for the third story, he did ask one question for all of you and you should answer it “if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” Try answer it everyday in your life and make it your source of inspiration. It helps a lot. Trust me.
